FIELDTRIP TO WHIO MEDIA CENTER

Well yesterday was a fun packed day. We were able to go and see where channel 7 news is filmed. We met and talked to news anchor James Brown. He took alot of time to talk and explain things to the kids. We even got to watch him tape a teaser commercial. It was very cool. We got to play with the green screen and pretend to be news anchors ourselves. Here are some pictures of our day. Enjoy and have a blessed day.

THANKSGIVING WITH FAMILY

This Thanksgiving We have alot to be thankful for. We got to spend 5 wonderful days with our family down in Tennessee. We had 2 Thanksgiving dinners, a Christmas dinner and many of nightsjust sitting together like old times. I took some pictures to share. Enjoy......

VACATION TIME.....

Well, I decided to take time out of all my packing to Wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to head to Tenessee to spend it with our family down in Jelico.  We can't wait for this vacation.  The kids have been counting down the days for 3 weeks now. What a Great Day

Well it has been a very busy day for this momma. Got up and went to church to help set up for the youth conference. Got the nacho cheese and meat done and then upstairs to watch the fun. Then I got to serve a great group of kids and adults. Then back upstairs for some GOD time. The preaching was great. The power of God was present and it was a awsome time. Then Our Bug ended up not feeling well so it was off to home we went. When I got here My wonderful husband had all our christmas stuff downstairs and ready for us. On went the christmas music and up went the tree. Now I am one tired momma. Today's thought is to remember The Pain, The Passion and The Purpose of Christ, and what Jesus did on the cross for us. Goodnight everyone. Teaching My Kids Is Amazing........

Today was an awsome day. The kids was learning about equations and just couldn't get it. I forgot how fun equations are to do. We sat down together and figured it out. I had so much fun. my little man was very excited when it clicked the bug could of cared less I think....lol.... but thats a 12 yr. old for you... tonight is family night.... we are putting up our christmas tree.... this is my favorite time of the year.... Well I will leave you with this, see if you can remember this...

.......OUR GOD IS IN CONTROL...........

I know alot of people who are going to have some strong reactions to this election. Whether you like who was put into power or not the Bible clearly stats that we are to pray for those in power. It doesn't matter who got in office at the white house. Our God is calling His people to fall on our knees and get back to our first love, the love this country was founded on.  That love is GOD, not money, or power. money wont solve anything, complaining wont solve anything. The only thing that can change anything is the Power of Prayer. This is exactly what I just discussed with our children this morning for school. Our God is bigger than anything a president or government can do. So we are going to take Joshua's stance, "AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD"  I love my Lord sooooo much and I know that He is a big God and he has everything in His hands.  Please rember that anything that happens is in His hands. Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray.

One of those days......

Have you ever woke up and it was one of those days where you can feel that today is going to be rough? 
Well thats exactly how are homeschooling day is going. First the kids can't find breakfast on their own. Now its like I have to be right on top of them to get a few pages of work done. Lord, I need you to help me through this day. Give me the strength and ability to teach my children what they need to know. Help me to get through to them that it is important. Help me Lord, to continue on this journey that you have placed infront of me...I love my children and I love teaching them. Help peace to flow over our house so that we can feel your presence here with us in everything we do.
I pray that this is your prayer to...to feel the love of Jesus in everything you do.

Newport Aquarium Homeschool day October 12, 2012

Well this was our first big field trip of the year.. and Daddy got to come with us. We had so much fun together. We took a class about sharks and learned that there are 365 species of sharks. WOW that is alot. and the aquarium only has 11 species. Did you know that there is a shark called a zebra shark that has spots on it like a leapord? That is crazy. Olde English Field Trip...... 10/9/12

This was our first field trip as a homeschool family. We learned some about gun saftey and then played kickball in the back field. Here are some pics.....enjoy

God is Awsome!!!!

Well my last post yesterday I was on my way to surgery for my kidney stone. I went through all the pre op stuff got into the surgery room, went to sleep and the doctor started the procedure with putting a dye in my kidney to locate the stone. when he took the x-ray he couldn't find any stone. It was gone. When I woke up Manuel told me that I had passed the stone. I told him that I didn't pass it I know that GOD took that stone from me. He healed me. I praise God for his love and mercy. I went to a womens conference today and the theme was "Restoring the Passion" I thank the Lord for renewing my passion for him and returning me to my first Love. I pray that we all will get back to our first love with Christ. Time is short before we will get to be with our savior forever. I challenge you to remember what Jesus has done for us on the cross. Remember to set your clocks back. Yah, I can sleep in one more hour... Goodnight and God Bless...

Kidney Stones...... :(

Well have you ever just had one of those weeks where everything seems to go wrong???? Yep that was my week. Monday I began my day in the ER with bad pain.. found out I have kidney stones. Went home, passed one stone, horrible pain... yesterday went to doctor for a follow up was sent to a specialist who said my duct was obstructed. So I am heading in for surgery today at noon to unobstructe my duct so I can be done with these things. Oh well, the saying goes when everything goes wrong God is up to something.  Can't wait for my BREAKTHOUGH.......Well until another time.

The Start of something new

Well it's crazy to thing that 5 months ago we stepped into a crazy direction that God has called us to go... Homeschooling....  It has been a great journey so far. We have connected with some great people and have really grown closer as a family.  My goal for this blog is to let you in on our crazy journey we are taking.. I promise I will try to keep this up to date.
