The kids have been doing a nature class at Bruckners in Troy. They go Once a month for 2 hours. They are with other home schooled kids and enjoy nature. All while me and momma get to sit in the bird sanctuary to listen and watch the birds. Here is some pic's the kids took this month.

Always let your loved ones know How much you love them

After looking at some old letters that my grandma wrote I want to let everyone know how much you all mean to me and how much I love you. There are a few ways to do this:

1. Always let the ones you love know just how much you love them.
2. Let them know that they are special.
3. Let them know that they are smart.
4. Let them know that they are your world.
5. To those of you that have spouses, remind them why you fell in love with them.
6. Never go to bed upset.
7. Tell your spouse that they are perfect the way they are.

But most of all, just know it is ok to show them you love them. God created love for us to share not to hide in our hearts. Please look after the ones you love. If you made a vow before God and man to love your spouse forever, Please, Please, don't ever forget that first love. The butterflies in your stomach when you see them across a room. The feel of them standing close to you. How good it feels to be in eachothers arms.

This is just me putting my thoughts down on paper. Today was a rush of emotions with learning things from the past, and looking at old pictures and hearing stories from them. I just needed to write some thoughts down.
So I will say goodnight, and remember to tell the ones you love just how much you love them.

Joy comes in the morning

Well it has been a crazy week. On Dec. 14, my grandma went to the er and was admitted, we then found out she had small cell lung cancer. At first we were told that she had about a year. So she decided to fight and take radiation, because it had spread throughout her body including to her brain. She was with us on christmas day. That day her legs just quit working. The next day she was suppost to start treatment she ended up back at the hospital, where she was told she had a couple of months. Mom brought her home to her house on Sat. Dec. 29. She no longer had any use of her legs at this point. she was in so much pain. We called Hospic in. They took care of her for 3 days. We got her pain under control and got my uncle and my brother here. By this time Grandma had stopped eating, drinking, and talking. She had the death gurgles. And on Saturday Jan. 5, 2013 at 9:10 am Grandma went home to be with the Lord. It was very hard. But we were together as a family, we grieved as a family. Now we have to remember our memories that we have of her. Like her beautiful smile. Her laugh. Her willingness to try just about anything. Her peek-a-boo sock monkey. Always buying for others. She was such a wonderful woman. I will miss her greatly. But as I miss her and mourn because she left, God reminded me today during our praise and worship at church. As we were down here praising the Lord, She had a front row seat to praise Him. She had a private audiance today. We will always love you grandma.....and will cherish the memories we have.
